Farewell for Brian Hartsock
I see the elusive John Welling came to town for the festivities. He also made a pineapple upside down cake for Brian's mom's birthday. Nice. Everyone had a great time.
Yes, Brian (I mean Elder Hartsock) is off to the MTC in Provo, and then he'll be winging his way to Rome, Italy!!! We're so excited for him. He's done an amazing job of getting prepared for his mission. We'll see him again in about March of 2010.....sounds like a long way off. I hope Bishop Sonksen is still the Bishop so we can welcome Brian back home! Here's some fun pics from Brownies at the Barneys (minus Brother Barney). Everyone seemed to enjoy the chipotle chili brownies that Sister Barney made. The caramel sauce held down the chili taste...and was also good on the other brownies. She's a real gourmet and has food for just about everybody! Thanks sister Barney! and.....see you soon Brian ( I'll be even OLDER when he gets home!)
